MY BACKGROUND: My innate desire to help people and make a positive impact in the world initially lead me to pursue my PhD in cell and molecular biology from University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno. Upon graduation I continued my advanced training in the sciences working on my Post-doctorate research at UC Davis in cancer biology and human related disease.

My scientific accomplishments have contributed significantly to critical cancer research. I have taken that passion for human health and my core analytical and organizational skills as a researcher and adapted them for advancing elder care. An in-depth knowledge in molecular biology/biochemistry, drug discovery, including using small molecule to target diseased cellular pathways, have enhanced my ability to understand human aging at a molecule level. This enables me to implement an effective plan of care for improving each of our seniors.
My instinct is to strive to find the best way to solve problems, which inspires innovative ways to fix them. My background in biological science, scientific skills, attention to detail, creativity, strong organizational skills, proactive and enthusiastic approach, and most importantly, my love and respect for the elderly compels me to improve the lives of those I serve.

For over ten years I worked to contribute to the betterment of others, and my philosophy will continue to compel me to improve the lives of the people around me. The world we live in is a circle of life; beginning as a child, then a young adult, to a husband/wife and parent, and finally to grandparents, creating a community along the way. One always wants to be independent as long as possible, and one always needs respect and dignity. Our philosophy is to enrich our seniors physically, emotionally, and spiritually with the aim of maximizing function, bringing joy, and preserving dignity. Working in senior care is full of joy and satisfaction. I am making sure that all of our elderly receive the care and support that they so richly deserve.
Our communities not only feel like home, they are home in every sense of the word. For those who could use a little help with day-to-day activities, St. Anne's Assisted Living offers the optimum balance between care-giving and life enrichment, all within a warm, elegant setting.

St. Anne's has been a life saver for my dear friend. When she came she could hardly walk and was in a wheelchair.  Her balance and speech were very poor but with the wonderful staff at St. Anne's,she is walking with the aid of her walker, speaking clearly and has some of her old spark back.  I love the staff there.  Thank You!

On behalf of our family, we sincerely thank you, and your employees for taking such wonderful care of our dear and sweet mother. As you know, it was difficult for me not to have my mom here with us during her last days, but if she had to be somewhere other than our home, we are so grateful that it was in yours. We know she was treated with great care, kindness and respect, and you and the girls went above and beyond to make sure she was safe, clean and comfortable, which is what we really wanted. This gave all of us a sense of comfort during a very difficult time, knowing that she was in such good hands at St. Anne’s.
Our mom was a very loving and caring person, and she also had a great sense of humor. She was the best mom and grandma we could have ever asked for, and she will be greatly missed by all of us. We are grateful that she is no longer suffering, but we wish she could have been well enough to join the rest of your residents to share TV time and meals together. Based on how happy the rest of your residents appeared to be and the great smells always coming from the kitchen, we know she would have enjoyed it immensely.
Thank you for doing the wonderful work that you all do. It is refreshing to know that there are nice places such as group homes like yours for seniors to live out the rest of their lives happy and well cared for.  We knew we had found the right place for our mom once we met you and your wonderful staff, and saw how well kept and nice your group home was. We know it is not easy work – it takes special people to care for the older generation so you should be proud of the wonderful job that you all do.
Thank you again for everything, including the beautiful roses and note you sent. While it has been a very difficult time in our lives, it was a bright spot in all the sadness to get to know all of you as well. We feel like God brought us to you and your group home so we could feel at peace with the way our mom left this earth, and for that we will always be grateful.

Saint Anne's may well be the best group home in the area.
After three years of living in an independent living facility, my 85-year-old mother needed hands-on, 24-hour hospice care. I was very impressed when I checked out Saints Anne's Group Home. First impressions were that it was a head-and-shoulders above anything we'd seen so far. The home was spotless and the residents seemed well-tended and very comfortable.

After accepting Mom at Saint Anne's, the owner has gone out of her way to make Mom feel that she is supported and is a valued part of the group home. Meanwhile, She keeps us updated through regular email and text messages. Since arriving in January 2018, my mother has made outstanding progress physically and emotionally, so much so that she is due to be exited from hospice care. The staff at Saint Anne's has performed a minor miracle. We highly recommend this facility to anybody looking for professional care for a loved one.

I am so grateful to Saint Anne's for all the expert and loving care they have given my mom. Because of the knowledgeable care, my mom's health has improved beyond my expectations. She entered St Anne's in a wheelchair but with daily therapy from Saint Anne's caregivers, she was using a walker within a week. The house is clean and cheerful. The home cooked meals are healthy and delicious. Because of the caregiver's watchful eye, two UTI's were caught before a hospital stay was needed. I highly recommend St. Anne's and feel lucky to have found them!

My 90 yr old mother has been a resident at St. Anne’s since mid-October. After looking at other group homes, I feel fortunate to have found this home for her. My mom can be difficult but the staff has been patient & caring, treating her with respect. What I love is that because the residents eat every meal family style, they essentially do become family. Everyone who has visited my mom has remarked on the cleanliness of the home and how pleased they are to see her content. The staff is always looking for ways to improve the residents lives. I know I found the perfect place for my mom!

"I was immediately impressed with St. Anne's and the owner's philosophy on resident care. The owner and her staff have managed to create a wonderful and inclusive family environment that has allowed both of my parents to thrive. Their overall health has improved and they are gaining weight - no surprise since the food is so good!  St. Anne’s goes to great effort to structure a customized approach for the care of each resident (coordinated with their family members) that keeps them engaged with the other residents/group activities and motivated to continue with their physical therapy/medication management.  I like that St. Anne’s seems to take a more natural, holistic approach to care, placing special emphasis on nutrition and proper hydration.  They are also very attentive to monitoring any slight changes in residents’ health to identify issues early and getting prompt medical attention.
Having had to deal with my parent's health care issues over the past months, I got to know several of the health care providers, nurses, social workers, case workers in the area; and I am not surprised when I hear that they also think so highly of St. Anne's.  Being so far away from my parents, especially as they get older, is very difficult, but I know that they are in good hands (as with family)."
